KVRS maintains these documents to address matters not already covered by the charter, the bylaws, and the rules and regulations of its certifying agencies.
The policies derive their authority from the bylaws. The policy is a basic mechanism by which the officers of the squad exercise the powers granted to them by the bylaws.
These documents are grouped as Operational, Administrative, or Miscellaneous, then listed in reverse chronological order. Documents are only removed from the list when they are explicitly repealed or assimilated into higher-order documents (like the Virginia Beach Department of EMS' Rules, Regulations, and Policies Manual).
