Readiness Report:  Condition 2 (Mobilization Alert)

This is the official KVRS Readiness Report.  Before and during potential states of emergency, check this message frequently for updates.

• Virginia Beach is currently under a Hurricane Warning.
• The Department of EMS has issued a Mobilization Alert, which is Condition 2 in the Emergency Operations Plan.  The highest state of readiness is known as Condition 1.
• All available personnel should contact EMS-5 at 635-7695 immediately for assignment.
• Personnel reporting to the station should bring provisions to sleep on the floor and to stay up to 72 hours if necessary.
