Readiness Report:  DISASTER ALERT (Condition 1)

This is the official KVRS Readiness Report.  Before and during potential states of emergency, check this message frequently for updates.

• Virginia Beach is currently under a Hurricane Warning.
• The Department of EMS has issued a Disaster Alert, which is Condition 1, the highest state of readiness, in the Emergency Operations Plan.
• All available personnel should report to the station to receive their assignments.
• Bring provisions to sleep on the floor and to stay up to 72 hours if necessary.
