- The online voting process is only recognized for deliberations of the Board of Directors. The process may be used at the President’s discretion. Online voting will be treated as a form of special meeting, and the bylaws governing special meetings shall likewise apply. The objection of a single director will nullify an active online voting process.
- A motion must be announced using both the Email and SMS modes of the OscarTRACK QuickMessage feature, and the announcements must be made a minimum of three calendar days before voting on the motion may be closed.
- At the request of any board member, the three day duration for collecting votes will be extended by an additional two days (for a total duration of five days).
- No online vote may commit the squad to any contract lasting more than one year. The non-contractual impact of an online vote may only have effect until the next regular board meeting, at which a motion to ratify the online vote must be considered.
