KVRS uses its CAAS Standards Mapping page to track the squad's progress towards full compliance with CAAS standards. KVRS knows that full compliance will not come quickly or easily. Therefore, the Mapping will appear incomplete for quite a while. Remember, CAAS standards often exceed state and local regulations.
We provide the Mapping because we want our members, our donors, and the citizens we serve to be able to see how far along we already are, and what kind of progress we're making. We are committed to working toward the highest standards, and we want it to show. Besides, citizens, businesses, or other organizations examining the Mapping may see an opportunity to help us reach "the gold standard".
