- The founding fathers of the Kempsville Volunteer Fire Department, Incorporated on July 30, 1951.
- Life Members
- Those who have served at least ten years with the Kempsville Volunteer Rescue Squad or the Kempsville Volunteer Fire Department, or both.
- Honorary Members
- Those who make special ongoing contributions to KVRS.
- Members In Memorium
- Those who have died while on the roster of the Kempsville Volunteer Rescue Squad or the Kempsville Volunteer Fire Department, or both.
